Mr. Larionov is a founder of Science Fiction Fan Clubs of Russia, an active organizer of Sci Fi conventions and an outstanding a connoisseur and collector of Science Fiction literature. Through this award Mr. Larionov will select three caricature art works to be awarded $300 prize and included in the print catalog as well as showcased at the Art Show.

Requirements

Requirements for competitive works in the nomination "Caricature".

Both professional artists and amateurs can participate in the competition in the nomination "Caricature".

Only works, the copyright on which belongs to the participant directly, shall be accepted to participate in the competition. Files of caricatures, specifically performed by the author on the topics of the competition, shall be accepted to participate in the competition. Not more than 3 works on every topic! Colored, CMYK or RGB, saved in formats TIFF, PDF, EPS, or JPG, all the layers must be kept, with a resolution of 600 dpi at a ratio of a standard A3 sheet. Files shall be located in the personal portfolio of a participant that is created on the specialized site-platform after the registration of the participant. We shall accept only previously unpublished works.

The works shall be accompanied by a photo and a short biography of the author.

Requirements for competitive works in the nomination "Poster".

Both individual authors and creative teams can participate in the competition in the nomination "Poster".

Files of posters, specifically performed by the author (creative team) on the topic "MONEY will save the world", as well as files of thematic posters created in the last 5 years, shall be accepted to participate in the competition. Not more than 3 works! Colored, CMYK or RGB, saved in formats TIFF, PDF, EPS, or JPG, all the layers must be kept, with a resolution of 600 dpi at a ratio of a standard A2 sheet. Files shall be located in the personal portfolio of a participant that is created on the site gir-magazine/contest/ after the registration of the participant. Newly created posters must include the text in Russian or in English "MONEY will save the world" and the logo of competition (the color at the discretion of the author).

Additional texts or slogans can be added on the poster at will of the author.

Works, selected by the jury and received awards and prizes, will be printed for the exhibition and replicated by the organizers.

  • Determination of winners

    Determination of winners of the competition shall take place in stages.

    The best 8 works shall be selected from the works submitted for the competition and published in the magazine “Global Investment Review” (published 6 times a year) and additional 12 works shall be selected for publication in the electronic version of the magazine (the fee for publication in the print edition is $ 100.00, in the electronic edition - $ 25.00). The works, published in the magazine, get into the final of the competition. The jury shall select the winner of the main prize of the competition from these works, and these works will be placed in the catalog and will participate in exhibitions.

    All submitted for the contest works will be posted on the website of the magazine, where voting will be organized. Works, not selected by the jury, but received a large number of audience votes will be awarded with prizes and diplomas, and will be included in the printed catalog.

  • The organizers can invite members of the jury

    The organizers can invite members of the jury and the owners of the award at the opening of the exhibition according to the results of the competition.
